Case: Under processing

As the sidebar reads, I am indeed 20 years of age (so far), and have a keen interest in technology and science and philosophy and art and music and programming and electronics and reading and writing and sports and public debates and eating and organizing events/teams and… phew.. writing about my interests (as you’ve probably already made out by now).

I’ve been on the Internet for nearly a decade now, been programming since about that time too, which I think started by playing an arcade game called “Rattler” (had something to do with a cheese-hungry mouse chased by a cat in a maze-thing.. loads of strategy involved..) and then trying to write simple games myself. Pretty common story I guess.

Despite the fact that I’m really sick and tired of web-designing, its like a wierdly-pleasant curse that all people ever ask me to do is to “Design their website”! I had sworn a couple of years ago that I would never make websites again for anyone except myself, and at last count, I have made eight websites since that fateful day… all big and important websites (bah!). Someone did ask me to program once for him, but that request turned out to involve a certain project for a certain school and a certain exam, so needless to say I didn’t call back. Oh and yeah another fella did ask me if I could hack my college’s attendance records online and get them exempted from the big fine. Need I state my reply?

With AJAX kicking up a lot of dirt, I decided to take notice and start back into this task.. so currently I’m quite into AJAX nowadays. Otherwise I’m into Graphic programming (not designing…programming!), Graph theory algorithms and game development.

I’m also the Secretary of the IEEE Students’ Chapter, VIT University, so that involves a lot of running around and work.

Finally, I like playing soccer (a lot!) and am a not-so-bad guitarist and just-okay vocalist. I’m play with my band: “CRASH!”, and presently have really long hair (though I trimmed it a bit recently!)!.
